How can we navigate through a seemingly eternal conflict? How can we approach it from the perspective of theater? The journalistic viewpoint of Txell Feixas, the dramaturgy of Wajdi Mouawad well-known to Cristina Genebat and translated by her several times, and the experiential approach from the interpretation of Clara Segura, will come together to share ways of trying to understand the wound of the wars. We do not aim to explain the conflict, and we will likely leave with more questions than answers. What we want is to share ways of engaging with it, different points of entry into a complex and harsh reality.
Tots Ocells (All Birds) speaks of life and love, of hatred and family legacies, of human DNA, of blood and traditions, of the identity of two peoples who have grown up hating each other. It speaks of mothers, daughters, grandparents, and grandmothers, of conversations between parents and children, of memories and doubts about whether there is still room for tenderness amidst a long-standing shattered dream: a possible reconciliation. This could be a starting point for this conversation.
